Belintash

A rock plateau about 300 m long at 1,225 m above the villages of Mostovo, Topolovo and Dolnoslav, with carved round holes, channels, niches and steps. It is thought to be an ancient sanctuary later dedicated to the Thracian god Sabazios, and is the second largest rock sanctuary in Bulgaria after Perperikon. It is close as the crow flies, but the drive from Smolyan is more than 100 km.
