Nevyastata Rock

A rock above Smolyan which, according to legend, a young local woman threw herself from rather than marry the Ottoman ruler of the town. A marked eco trail of about 750 m starts by the arch of St. Panteleimon Monastery on the road to Pamporovo and takes about half an hour. At the top there are two viewing platforms over the town, and nearby there are rock climbing routes, a via ferrata and a zip line, which can only be used with the guides on site.
